Cristina Tatareanu is 35 years old, married, and has a baby boy of 4.

Cristina graduated Philology in 1998 and started working as an English teacher for various levels, from kindergarten to adult education.

She took part in various teaching programmes both in Romania and abroad and specialized in teaching English through drama.

In 2003 Cris became a teacher trainer and representative of Oxford University Press in Romania, giving workshops and talks on teaching English using OUP materials. Due to her remarkable results and excellent contacts, Cristina was promoted to Department Manager within the Romanian branch of the renowned publishing house. She was supervisor of a team of five English representatives for OUP, all over Romania. She travelled extensively and participated actively in organising all the national and international teachers’ conferences, promoting OUP’s best teaching methods.

In 2005 Cristina left OUP and joined Raabe Romania – the prestigious German publisher specialized in practical guides in different areas of expertise. There, she managed the Educational Department, being responsible for issuing a number of upmost guides for teachers of different subjects as well as school managers. Throughout her entire stay with Raabe Romania, Cristina managed a group of authors, consultants and specialists.

In 2008 Cristina teamed up with Adevarul Holding in Bucharest, as Project Manager for some of the most successful book projects in Romania. She supervised the publishing of the complete works of Lev Tolstoy, Karl May, William Shakespeare. She was involved in every aspect of the projects, from rights contracts, to marketing and publicity. Cristina was also in charge with the most famous book collection in Romania, and not only, „100 books you must have” series, maybe the most remarkable marketing project ever. Owing to the great sales of the books in newsstands, “Adevarul” newspaper hit number one on the Romanian market in only 3 months from the project launch.

Following her growth in carrier development, Cristina left Adevarul Holding in May 2009 to co-found Talk Partners. Her experience with both authors and publishers, gives her the best perspective in promoting authors and representing authors’ rights. She runs Talk4u Literary and Copyright Agency, a division of Talk Partners, and she is committed to building long-term successful careers for each client.
